Every Feature Wall Kit comes factory-primed and ready to paint. Apply one good coat of paint after installation, and you're done. Most customers paint both the wall surface and all kit parts the same color, but perhaps you're more adventurous. Consider using wallpaper on the panel areas or painting it a different color. Elite Wall Paneled Wainscoting Feature Wall Kit, 8ft high, 8ft or 5ft long. No panels are needed here, just use the existing wall, that's what makes this kit so easy to install. As shown, the kit consists of everything you need for five or eight linear feet of wall, including:

1 - Reversible Wainscot Upper Rail
1 - Recessed Lower Rail
2 - PVC Shoe Trim,
3 - 95" or 60" Recessed Stile to be used for the horizontal divider rails and the upper rail
5 or 3 -- 26" Recessed Stiles
15 or 9 -- 16-1/8" Recessed Stile 

All parts are packed with protective packaging and ready to go for quick shipping. The Rails and Stiles are made from primed MDF, the Cap Trim is made from primed FJ poplar and the Shoe Trim is made from PVC for better impact and moisture resistance. Customizing the kit for doorways or windows is effortless with the optional router bit.  *Actual length is 95”, the maximum length allowed for parcel shipping.
