Ceiling Medallions
Ceiling medallions are an architectural element used to decorate the area around a light fixture or the ceiling in general. They are especially useful with higher ceilings.
They are available in a variety of different shapes and sizes. There are some that are simple and others that are intricately detailed.
These medallions are generally made from polyurethane foam and come primed and ready to be painted if you so desire.
If using it to surround a light fixture, ceiling medallions should be approximately the same size as the light fixture below. The size of the medallion depends on the size of the room and ceiling it is used on. Something too large will overpower the room.
They are easy to install and are adaptable to a ceiling electrical box. They are a great addition to any room.
