10" Decorative Wood Rafter, actual size is 1 ¾" x 9 ⅜". Made by folding 4 panels of ½" veneered MDF Hardwood (or partical core substrate). Being engineered wood, and not subject to spliting or warping, this type of rafter beam is ideal for ceiling beam systems or exposed roof trusses.

You have a choice of having it shipped with all four panels fully assembled or in two "L" sections to be glued on site. Having the rafter shipped unassembled allows for inserting wood or metal mounting brackets (not included). We include tape and MDF glue when we ship unassembled. The 16ft rafter is shipped in two 8 foot lengths with shiplap ends for making seamless joints on site.
