Chair Rails and Panel Moulds

Back when walls were made of plaster, chair rails were installed to protect the walls from getting damaged by chairs. Today chair rails are used to add a decorative touch to a room. They help to break up a wall that is otherwise bland and boring. Many people will paint the bottom of the wall and the top a different color, or just paint it all one color and break it up with the chair rail.
