MDF Beaded or Grooved Wall Paneling
Choose from a wide variety of bead types and thickness
Elite Trimworks offers MDF Beaded or Grooved Sheets, which can be used for Ceilings, Wall Applications, or Cabinetry. The Beadboard or V-Grooved Wall Paneling can be ordered in various panel thicknesses and lengths. The sheets or Wall Panelling can be ordered in different widths and styles. The rustic "V" Groove gives a "Wide Plank" appearance. Using the predetermined spacing ensures that the beads or grooves lineup end to end for seamless wall applications.
We can make these sheets in any Oak, Maple, Cherry, Mahogany, veneered MDF core, particle core, or any board that you like. Additional images of these beaded boards can be found in the Photo Gallery.
If full-size sheets are required, call us to make transport shipping arrangements. FedEx or UPS only allows us to send a maximum size of 30"H x 48"W panels. Whole sheets must be sent on a skid using a Transport Truck at a higher shipping cost; this type of shipment only makes sense if you plan to order 10 sheets or more. If you have an application where 8' tall material is necessary, you may want to look at our Plank Beadboard options. The planks go together using a Shiplap joint which means that each plank overlaps the last to create a seamless joint. The planks are available in Paint Grade and Stain Grade (Oak, Maple, and Cherry). The planks are ideal for smaller jobs that may not require the use of a full sheet of beadboard but still require the height of a full-size sheet.
Should you decide to use 3/8" thick sheets with any bead type, they will match perfectly with our BeadBoard Rail Package that includes a pre-milled upper and lower rail, cap, and shoe trim for a very rich-looking wainscot beadboard application. For those of you considering installing beadboard on an un-even or tiled surface, using this custom-made sheet Beadboard with the rail package will give you stunning results.

Board Cutting Fee
The fee charged for cutting any board of wood, MDF or PVC one way at any length, PER CUT. The sheets or panels will be cut square as per your instructions. Accuracy will be within 1/8” of an inch. Cut offs or waste will be shipped with your order unless specified otherwise. The maximum length of cut is 12 feet. Contact us for costing to cut longer sheet.

One sheet of Raw MDF. Being popular, we carry lots of stock for fast shipping. MDF sheets are produced with state-of-the-art systems resulting in better consistency that allows for higher quality fabrications.
Choose from any of our in-stock sheets or order in any size you like. MDF sheets are available 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and up to two inches thick. As of late, thicknesses over 1" are not available from any of our suppliers. -
Channel Bead - MDF Sheet
Nickel Gap (or Channel Groove) Raw MDF Sheet, with 4" / 6" / 8" on-centre channels. Each sheet is 4' wide, with an option to choose the length (8ft / 10ft / 12ft), and the thickness (3/8" / 1/2" / 5/8" / 3/4"). The channel groove is approximately ¼" wide and 3/16" deep.
These sheets can be used for Walls, Ceilings, Backsplash, or Cabinet applications.

V-Grooved - MDF Sheet
V-Groove MDF Sheet or Panel, with various spacing. The V-Groove is a textbook bead profile to produce the look of either shiplap or tongue & groove planking. Choose from various widths, lengths and thicknesses.
These sheets or panels can be used for Walls, Ceilings, Backsplash, or Cabinet applications. Made with raw MDF, to be finished on site.

Large V-Grooved - MDF Sheet
Large V-Grooved MDF Sheet or Panel, with various spacing. The Large V-Groove is a bead profile meant to replicate the look of thicker shiplap or tongue & groove planking that are typically from ¾" to 1" thick. Can be ordered in various widths, lengths and thicknesses.
These sheets or panels can be used for Walls, Ceilings, Backsplash, or Cabinet applications. Made with raw MDF, to be finished on site.

Standard-Bead - MDF Sheet
Standard Bead Raw MDF Beadboard Sheet, with 2" / 3" / 4" / 6" on-centre Beads. Each sheet is 4' wide, with an option to choose the length (8ft / 10ft / 12ft), and the thickness (3/8" / 1/2" / 5/8" / 3/4").
These sheets can be used for Walls, Ceiling, Backsplash, or Cabinet applications.
By default, the Bead will run along the LENGTH of the board. Each side of the board will have a shiplap edge to form a seamless joint when using multiple sheets together.

W-Bead - MDF Sheet

Beaded Hardwood Sheet
Beaded Stain Grade Hardwood Sheet 4' x 8'. With a raw, hardwood veneered surface and a MDF substrate.
Elite Trimworks offers an extensive line up of Veneered MDF Beaded Sheets. In Red Oak, or any other wood of choice to help you achieve your project vision.
When making your panel or sheet size choices, you can choose your thickness, length, face veneer, size and core; when working with veneers you want to keep in mind that we recommend 3/8" thick or more and the V Groove for all veneered beadboard. Our suggestion is based on extensive research and is an industry standard.
Although we can cut many different types and depths of grooves, the "V" bead works best in creating the beaded illusion on veneered beadboard. For rigidity, we recommend your beadboard substrate be a minimum of 3/8" thick.
Veneer is a natural material. No two pieces of veneer will match exactly in colour, character and appearance, the desired look when installing natural wood. Veneer, MDF and particleboard are not waterproof products.
